Hey guys,
Recently I've washed, clay bar'd (my entire car), and waxed (Tech Wax 2.0) my entire car by hand. It took a while.
I clay bar'd it because it's been a really long time since I've waxed my car (heck, even properly washed), and there were a lot of stuck-on's so it needed to be done.
My car is Silver, so luckily scratches and swirls are not very noticeable unless you're really looking for them, or looking at the car from close up, but I know they're there and I want to fix them.
I bought some Meguiars Ultimate Compound the other day from good ol Canadian Tire when it was on sale but haven't used it yet.
I'm just wondering about order of process here. Since I just waxed the car about 2 weeks ago (I actually put 2 coats on the entire car because I was hoping the wax would fix the swirlies but it it didnt) should I just wait a bit to use this compound?
Or should I just go ahead and do it. It's a micro-abrasive so I'm assuming it's going to kill my wax job anyway and I'll just have to redo it, yeah?
Has anyone used this stuff before?
going to get a random orbital polisher too the make the job easier...doing this stuff by hand is a real pain.
