Bought it in February, have about 5300 km's on it (or 3355 miles). I don't do as much heavy-duty driving, since my workplace is about 3 minutes from home (I know, it rocks.) In August I'm moving, then my commute will be a whole 10 minutes :wink:

Just passed 24,000km. The next oil change is gonna be expensive. Apparently they want almost $210.00 to check out the car. That just bites.

In Chilliwack they charge $150.00 plus tax, enviro fees, etc for the maintenance service. Usually works out to around $175.00 total. This includes the oil and filter change.

Traffic there sucked 6 years ago as well. In 2006 I was staying near Shoreline, WA and delided to leave my car at the hotel and take the bus to the game at Safeco Field. I was amazed at how bad the traffic was.

i'm at 27 thousand and some change drive downtown every weekend for work and took the car to wisconsin over last summer and to florida this past January! Averaged about 33-38mpg for the whole trip! :headbang: Chicago Gas prices are terrible!!!

I wouldn't worry about that Yoda... :smile:
Yaris, Scion, and Prius are all at the tops of the reliability lists... and they all use the same basic 1.5 engine. Just change the oil and yours will last a long long time. :thumbsup:

Yeah, this little 1.5L engine is already proven to run over 600,000 miles. There's Yaris and Echo examples proving this. Probably the most reliable regular gas engine in the world.

The engine will outlast your own humanity. :tongue:

2012 in 2013 are not "new" on the lot, unless you bought it in May of 2012 which I did. Your car is younger then mine and you are close to as many Km as mine !

I have under 8,000 Km in over 17 months. I didn't drive my car for a long time recently (Gas Prices & cash it tight); I turned it on and it was a little slow to start, first time I've experienced this. It was as if it just couldn't start the engine, it started just took an extra 1-2 seconds.
