This is not a question on which type of oil or filter I should use or is the best or what kind of mileage you get, but I'm just wondering.....how do you open the door on the side of your Yaris to put gas in? I've been driving the car since Sept.06 and getting great mileage and now it's time to fill up! I tried using a shoe horn to pry it open but I started to chip the paint. :iono:
Also, how much gas should I put in?
thnx.,

umm read the owners manual, then pull the lever with the gas pump on it inside your car.

You should have a lever close to the driver seat. Atleast that's how it is in the sedan.

My yaris gets such great mileage, I may just trade it in when I need to fill it.

It's the same in the liftback. The door release is on the floor just to the left of the drivers seat. I have never had to use it yet though.

As far as how much gas to put in.... Not sure because I have no experience with this but I would think until it is either full or when the payment amount on the gas pump exceeds what you have in your wallet.

Well since you were tampering with the gas lid by prying it open, the vibrations can cause your muffler bearing to go. You should check that out as well.

Also besure to make sure your headlight fluid is full as well.

Well, I found the lever next to my seat with the gas design on it..I pulled on it and........my roof opened and the passenger seat shot out (with my Wife still strapped in the seat) like a giant spring! Are you sure that lever was for the gas lid release? I just know I'm going to have a hard time explaining that one to Her when she gets home..........:iono:
