The stitching in the Liftback seats is only blue? How come?

When I bought my BB Liftback back in November I thought the color of the stitching matched the exterior of the car. I think it would look awesome if the Absolutely Red had red stitching, the Meteorite Metallic had a silver stitching, etc. I know I shouldn't care since mine matches my car but I think overall it would make the model look nicer..

What do you guys think?

In New Jersey, it's illegal to tint the front windows. So I'd rather not tint at all. NJ State Troopers are notorious for ticketing people for their window tints, LAME.

Here's the law:

Windshield- No tint is allowed on the windshield.
Front Side Windows- No tint can be applied legally to this window.
Back Side Windows- Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window- Any darkness can be used.

I'd love to have tint though.

hmm most of my Jersey commrads(sp) have tint on their windows and never get the chops busted unless they were doing something stupid in the first place. Did the dealership offer it to you? I got mine done as I was in the process of getting the car. I'm just not a fan of dark ass tints to begin with so just got them smoked. NY is the "same way" but they really dont care unless you have a suspicious(sp) car or just do something stupid.

Hey Dory, did you also notice that the stitching is little "W's"? I've had mine since Sept. and just noticed the W stitch effect this morning! BTW, the blue stitching goes very well with the meteorite metallic (silver).

I'm putting dark grey carpet in my rear compartment (live with the seats down & tired of everything sliding around on the plastic), and the shade works well with the blackish seats/carpets & blue stitching.

I have to agree with Dory on this one, it would look better if the stitching color matched the exterior color. Mine would be red, SWEET!

I suppose the blue stitching "goes" fine with Black Sand Pearl as well, but it's still one of the cheapest looking aspects of the car... I'd much rather have a solid color over ANY design I've seen sewn or printed onto a cloth seat over the years...

At least this one doesn't look like a god damn Trapper Keeper like some of the ones I've seen.
