Last night a new forum member PMed me about coming here to CT to have me install cruise control for him.

I am thinking that we will do it the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and I figured I would see if anyone else from the area was interested in a day of wrenching and/or wire snipping on their Yaris?

I would be, except I have nothing to install, and I'm busy that day...
Shame, though - it sounds good.

Scott,

Have to echo SailDesign, I think it would be great.

Done my installs for now (cruise control, power door locks, hardwired GPS and Radar Detector) thanks LARGELY to you.

I've been wanting to do some aftermarket fogs, but I doubt I would get them in time.

Perhaps another time,

cheers mate.

that sounds awesome, what would you charge to oversee and direct me installing the cruise control myself? I'd love to learn some wiring but I can't overemphasize my ability to make myself bleed.

But just getting all the new england peoples together would be really nice.

Just the cost of the parts. If figure that if I'm helping someone out that the more the merrier.

I figure it's a good excuse to get some Yaris people together and drink some beer.

That may be one where if a couple of people need parts (like your fogs) that perhaps we can talk Garm into making sure that they get here in time.

I'm a bit hesitant to do it (cruise) myself, install day sound great !! Pencil me in tentatively for the wrench/snipping party.

It's a three day weekend. Perfect time to take a road trip.

If it wasn't a 16 hour drive for me, I'd be down. Might be taking a trip out to NYC this summer though, perhaps we could arrange another one and I'll swing down if we drive out?

There we go - That makes this officially an international Yaris meet, since we have someone crossing the border.

Hmmm - First thing that comes to mind for NYC food is Nobu.

Anything you want to bring food or drink wise is great. I figured I'd grab some stuff fire up the grill.

If anyone wants to bring significant others, that's fine as well. My wife doesn't do the car thing, but never minds drinking wine with the other gals.
