For those of you who have the Tanabe Medallion axleback exhaust (but no other exhaust modifications), does it have a constant drone when driving around town or only when you get on it?

For instance cruising at 40mph or so in 4th gear is their an audible hum in the cabin?

I'm really wanting an exhaust for my car, but I absolutely do not want any kind of constant hum. I've had that before and it's really annoying. I loved the stock exhaust on my BMW 325i, it had absolutely no hum, but made a nice audible noise once you gave it 3/4 pedal or more.

I've been thinking about making an in cabin video with the Medallion Touring. So many people want to know about interior noise. Maybe it's time...

so does it have a constant hum when cruising?

I have the medallion touring, and I have to say it was well worth every penny.

If I want to hear my exhaust, I simply roll down my windows, otherwise it's not intrusive at all.
As long as you don't mind hearing your exhaust in the background and you like a deep low pitch, then you'll love it. It really doesn't have a bad hum when cruising, I know when i'm cruising at 60 MPH on the highway I can't even hear it.

that's what I wanted to know. I want to hear my exhaust when I'm accelerating, but I don't want a constant hum in the cabin when just cruising at a steady speed.
