While there are many post of each of these steps together, I could find no comprehensive guide....I plan to clay bar my car for the first time and am wondering if I should polish it too. It is a former rental and was washed with a stiff bristle brush for the first 30k and has swirl marks in the paint. Here is the process/ products I plan to use.

Meguires Clay Kit
Turtle wax black box

should I polish after clay then proceed with black box?
Which step is polishing? (I assume after clay and before black box process)

Thanks in advance for advice!

Yes you would need to polish. I assume you are using a random orbital. If not, plan on spending alot of time doing the polish step if you really want the swirls and scratches gone. I'm in Fayetteville. If you are ever up this way give a holler.

Yes, I have 6" orbital buffer and plan on using it. I will hit you up if I ever get out that way!
