I'm from australia and have a Yaris ZR, the equivalence to the SE but mine is 3 doors.

I am looking to buy new wheels for my car, but I know nothing about wheels and fitment (measurements etc).

Please help a n00b out. I've never dealt with buy new wheels before.

________
edit* Just to make life easier for myself, will the following wheels fit my car?

Also I was wondering about 15inch vs 16inch? Which one would look better on the new Yaris?

PCD is 100, with 4 holes. More commonly known as 4x100. Yaris/Vitz also has a center bore (wheel hub diameter) of 54.1mm.

The lower the offset number the furthur they will stick out past the fender/quarter panel.

So +20 offset will be sticking out and +38 will be flush with fender and +45 will be sunk in just a bit assuming you are buying a rim that is at least 7"-8" wide. +39 is about the stock offset for 15" wheels.

My personal opinion is that the 15" wheel with a lower offset (+20 or so) will look good with a 195/50/15 tire. If you go bigger rim diameter, say 17", I prefer flush or just a bit sunk in.

The Rota grids you have linked (Rays TE37V knockoffs) would stick out about 8-10mm past the fender. With some drop this would give it a nice stance. Also, since you are new to wheels I offer this opinion, stay clear of Rotas. Save your money and get some real TE37V either new or used. The quality of Rota/XXR/Drag wheels is nothing compared to the genuine article. Get some used quality wheels if the budget is tight, trust me I've been down this slippery slope before. In hindsight I wish I would have saved a couple more months to get real wheels.

that offset will make them wheels poke out alot, im flush in the front with 17x7.5 and +42, rears could use a small spacer.

Mate, If you really know nothing about wheels I would suggest that maybe you go to your local Bob Jane T Mart, or similar tyre company, and they have a simulator where you can pick your car and colour and then see how the selected wheels look on a screen. They can also advise you on the correct size, etc of the wheels. This might be a lot safer than picking wheels off Ebay. I stuck with 15 inch wheels when I got my mags, as the car was near new then and I used the original tyres. I have also bought tyres at Kmart Auto.
Best wishes on the choice
