Tire Gage ?

What are the best Tire Gage, recommendations ? I need one of these :)

I just picked up one at Walmart (I think it was less than 5$) .. and it works really well. It isn't digital but rather one of the manual old school type of gauges.

What is it called ? I think I may have to go into Canadian Tire or Wal-Mart, actually I've been in a Wal-Mart, a few times the past two weeks and never went to look for one :)

I don't have a name for you .. but I know that at Walmart in the Automotive department they probably had like 6 different models. Mine is in the glove compartment of my car .. but it is just one of the cheap models (I am sure I didn't pay too much for it) that you will find there. I have never found that you need to spend lots of money to get a gauge that works.

I got one like this:

About $12 at Wal-Mart. Made by "Slime" (the guys that make that fix-a-flat stuff). Really small, fits in the glove box above the steering wheel and is pretty accurate. I like it! :thumbsup:

I kind of like the old school ones myself. no batteries to die, just works. I will say that dynamic range is important though. I have seen several that have a dial but go up to 250psi. hard to see 30psi when the increments are that tight. here is mine. I usually run 40ish in the yaris. I think I paid under $10 for it but it was relatively easy to find.

mine goes from 0-60psi. I love this little thing. it's compact and fits just wherever.

Batteries, argh, I hate them with my mouse, never mind you want to check the tire gage and the batteries are dead. Manual is more appealing.

lol, that was my crappy 5 year old camera and trying to get a good picture of the numbers on the gauge. I actually keep it in the center console of my other car.

it is very handy to have around.

I have this one as well. I love it...so durable....I can't imagine it ever malfunctioning. I've gotten a few plastic ones as stocking stuffers and they felt as though they will soon fall apart so I gave each one away.
