Hi,
I installed a Pioneer DEH-3400UB this weekend. It sounds great, but I have lost the abillity to control the volume with the buttons on my steering wheel. Does anyone know if it is possible to get this control back?
Cheers, Alec

You will need a steering wheel control adapter to interface the new radio to the OEM controls. Check out PAC-Audio's products.

1, they dont make one for my radio
2, $85, you have GOT to be kidding! for one volume control! what idiot would pay that!? surely it's just routing. Even if it has a microprocessor generating RS-485 then it should cost more that £20.
I think you must be misunderstanding my question

According to Crutchfield.com the following three steering wheel control adapters work with that head unit (and yes they are ridiculously expensive for what they do):
Axxess ASWC
PAC SWI-RC
PAC SWI-PS
