Hi, I'm new to this forum, and just recently decided to started modding my 2009 Yaris 4 door Hatchback.

Now for the questions:

I just recently purchased and installed Sparco Assetto Gara(bronze) on my car. I'm looking to lower my car with Tein S-techs and Tokico HP Blues. Will I rub/poke with those? And will I need a camber kit or roll my fenders?

Other info:
Wheels have +30 offset 15x6.5 and 185/60 R15 for all four tires.

Also of note, I'm new at this stuff but I want to learn, so any explanations regarding terminology and reasons for things would greatly help!

Welcome!
That's about a 1" drop, right? I think you'll do fine.
You may want to think about adding just a little bit of camber just in case you get too close to the fender, but it's an easy/cheap fix.

I've got blues/s-techs also, and it's about a 2" drop. I'm running 205/50R15's on stock wheels and have had no tire clearance issues so far. I did run into a ground clearance issue at the car wash the other day though...

You can use the "size comparer" on www.rimsntires.com to see what the difference is between two different wheel/tire setups.

You should be more than fine with that setup.

Welcome to the forum! What color is your car?

I just did the exact same set-up on the exact same car, same shocks/struts, same springs, same tire size, with a +38 offset. Everyone swore to me that there would be no rubbing, this has NOT been the case. On curvy mountain roads and very spirited driving, my front tires rub quite a bit, especially the left.

I love the set-up otherwise, but that is a little frustrating. I may add a degree of camber in the front, see if that helps.

Just to let you know.

p.s. I'm new to the world of car mods and don't totally understand offset, but I think it means that your wheels would stick out further than mine. Which will look GREAT, but might rub more.

Thanks for the replies! Haha my car is Blazing blue metallic. I'm still not sure if I'm going to get the springs/shocks right now, but that's what I plan to do. I don't really have to worry about curvy roads since I'm in houston XD and it's all flat/straight roads lol. Makes for boring drives though >.> Potholes on the other hand..... all over the place. If I do get the set up, I probably will add some camber regardless just to be safe.

a hint of camber, -.5 to -1.5 is going to really help with handling and you should see almost no camber wear.

Im selling my coil overs from my yaris, they dropped my car about 4-5 inches. I bought them brand new, but I'm selling my car and have no need for the coils anymore.

I'm asking about 1000-1100, as i did buy them for 1300.
