View Full Version : Red N Gold devilito
got the XXR 527 17 x8.25 +25 offsets in gold , 195/40/17 S drive yokohama tires .
haven't done the front camber yet, but suprisingly it doesn't rub !
wheel is 19.8 lb according to the manufacture ....I guess I saved up a little coming from the boat anchor trd 18's :w00t:
Those look amazing man. Great improvement over the Trds. The stance is right on.
I'm selling the same wheel in 15x8.25 +0
thanks man .
the front wheels look like this \---\ , need to do a corner alignment as well as add on camber bolt up front.
I have people looking at my car all day yesterday ..im not sure if it's from the wheels or the supercharger noise ..lol

Oh gosh, those look so hot. Do want, do want.
thanks guys . I looked and waited for those wheels for at least a couple of months....it's worth the wait ..lol
the S drive is pretty good for the price and it's really quiet.
Got an alignment today ... Put the camber bolts in ... -2.8 camber up front .
Look a whole lot better and I feel a little better on the handling.
Will post the specs once I get home :)

Yea XXR is having a delay with a lot of wheels I feel like
I got some S drives too so always like to see + reviews lol
didn't do the rear just yet, eventhough I have the shim ready to install ... the shop asked for 3 hrs labor to install the rear shim...I was like " hell no " ...lol

Red and gold look good together.
STAY AWAY from curbs!:eyebulge:
The edges of my rims would also touch before the tire got scuffed.

How does stretching a tire like that affect tire life?
@PJ : or sell them to me :D .... what did you do with your OEM front bumper ?
@flipper : I can't really tell , since it's only been a couple of days of using.

that is why I like the way my car sits, I'll rip the sides off before I curb a wheel. This pic gives the right idea, even the front wheels are inside the fenders.

Not feeling the amount of stretch, but otherwise, the rims look good on the car!
thx viperoni .
went to a local alignment shop to rear shim install ...but no luck ... they said the since I did the rear disc conversion, the shim is no longer applicable ....:sigh:
Very nice. I usaully do not like gold wheels but with the red and tires they really look cool.Well done
^thank you sir !
I want some more drop but the coils are max out already , thinking to get another brand of coils that can drop more, but afraid the ride will be extra bouncy.
Take the adjusters out - extra .5" lower! :)
Looks great man.
That is what I did ^ My rears are all the way slammed with the locking collars removed and just the spring sitting on the perch base where the collar screw onto. I want to know if I can even remove that little silver base and let the spring just sit on the control arm, cuz I still need moar low in the rear.

Red over Gold looks fantastic!
And while the TRD's are heavier, I'm happy to have that strength when I pound over those 4" frost heaves on our hiways. OUCH!!! To be honest, I can't believe I haven't lost a tire or destroyed a wheel over some of our provinces finest speed-bumps.
Yup those Trd are pretty strong ... I used them for almost 3 yrs and still have no bends n cracks :) but I had a change of heart and love the multispokes wheels more :)
I have another sets of multispokes wheels (17" OZ superleggeras) for my winter set , but still need to refinish .
teaser ....just got an email from the wheel shop . ...powdercoated in candy lime green
santa mobile is in the work :burnrubber:
