It looks good so far!:coolpics: If you dont like the streaks just peel it off and do it again! Sucks to have to re-do it but its nice that its not permanent. I bought a can the other day, I want to black out the badges and maybe the hubcaps

very true, i may just put more on top and see what happens. when you do emblems, don't just tape off the emblem, also spray your paint around it, then peel the parts of the paint. we completely taped off my friends cobalt ss emblems, and when the tape came off, so did some of the plasti dip. gl

Won't that material melt on really sunny days? Also, it seems to me that all the sunlight will get absorbed and transferred to the inside of the car, which might make the cabin extra toasty in the summer...

It does have a cool murdered-out kind-of look, though. Looking forward to finished pics.

I left it at the house and took the wife's car to let it sit. I'll upload pics later. It is about 100 degrees here in Arkansas plus humidity. It's always hot. Haha. I'm back and forth about the look. I'll prob redo the roof and I may even reblack my wheels.

I think that stuff is so cool but it seems whenever people spread it over large areas it looks faded more than anything. Just my .02

Yea that was my experience when I tried painting the roof 1.5. I had the same results TickleTime did, I think its too large of a surface area to paint with cans.. I think using the car kit with them is a better idea or just purchasing vinyl sheets..

Yeah I think Vinyl still comes out the best

I actually did my entire car in the black plastidip a few months ago, came out nice if you like the matte look, this should look pretty nifty.

sorry for crappy pics, shaded under tree a bit. also, some leaves and crap fell out of tree and are sitting up there, ill have to wash and get more pics. I still have to peel extra plasti dip off windows, but other than that its done. dried pretty even up top, got kinda lucky. i'll prob go back and take all vinyl off my car (gas door, stripe, front) and redo then in plasti dip too. also, my friend read about a glossifier (?) you can put over the plasti dip, gonna look into it.

You should do the hood too and go for that skunk stripe

^ hahahahaha

I wonder if the Uric acid from the bird is going to damage this or make it burn to the paint or something.

Maybe I'll get a reverse Dalmatian going on. Yeah, thinking I may do hood. But at the point I might as well do whole car. So I need help, should I rebadge the back with my skull emblem? Also, if I do hood should I comPletely undo front bumper black? ( I planned on spraying it instead of vinyl if I keep it)?

I say keep what you have done so far and just add the hood as well. With the little black nose accents that you have it will look like the middle of the car is one giant stripe it looks real good.

Ive had birds crap on my side mirrors and it didnt have an effect on it.. Granted I only left it on for a day or two..

good job though, looks awesome..

^^ thanks. Yeah, I'm looking into glossifier. It looks even until the sun hits it just right ( or should I say just wrong). Gonna have to add a coat or two.

roof definitely needs more AND was just spraying hood and ran out. haha. one thing at a time i guess. First two are of the light coats on hood. the second two are after a car wash before working on the hood. the water makes it look glossy, i like glossy.
