Got a great deal on some fog lights that come with everything needed to make them work on ebay I got these for $38 with free shipping, just got them professionally installed for $100. I was going to install myself but just didn't want to deal with it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-06-09-TOYOTA-YARIS-3DR-5DR-CLEAR-FOG-LIGHTS-KIT-w-SWITCH-/200794841049?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AYaris%7CYear%3A2008%7CMake%3AToyota&hash=item2ec04e1fd9&vxp=mtr#ht_4557wt_975

if you don't like how bright they are, you could always put in some HIDs. i've had 55w ones in my ebay fogs for nearly 2 yrs no problems at all. lights up all over the place (Y)

Looks good... any time I see a Yaris without them I think that something is missing!

Aren't the foglights for the 2010 sedans shaped slightly different from the 07-08?

The fog lights themselves are identical. It is the plastic trim pieces that changed.

In that case, g.q. is better off buying the foglights by themselves vs to buying a kit that includes the bezel already, right? Probably save some money that way.

^---That's certainly one way to go. You can get the bezels separately on ebay all day long and for pretty cheap too.

Actually, looking again at the EPC, 2006-2011 Sedans are all the same for both the lights and the trim (and, that's how they are shown as well on MicroImage's listing):

Yes. But, the difference between these $40 ones and the MicroImage $100 kit is that the MicroImage one includes the wiring pieces developed by Ray (1NZYaris1), which allow you to install them using the existing factory wiring through the firewall.

If you are installing them yourself this saves a large amount of work, as the $40 kit will require you to pull the battery and wiper tray to get at the firewall grommet to run the harness through the firewall.

To modify the $40 kit to use the factory wiring you would need to purchase the two pins for the under-hood fuse panel connector ($12+ each) and the fog light relay for the under-dash fuse panel ($20).

I had to go through my firewall with my eBay fogs gq. I remember you saying you weren't comfortable with rolling/pulling fenders so this may not be something you want to undertake. It took me >5 hours but I'm not the best at wiring/electrical either.

Whereas I installed a set of Micro Image ones on Crashy2 last night in less than an hour. That involves a couple of tricks though, that I've leaned over time, like only disconnecting the top of the bumper, rather than pulling the bumper entirely off.

That's not a plain 2010, it's a 2010 S, which would come with fogs from the factory. The non-S 2010's had the same fog light trim as the pre-2010s.

lol, wow, an S model that's actually quite different than the other trim levels.

So all non-S sedans are basically the same with the exception of the front top grill?

Now I bought a set off ebay, but now instructions on wiring hook up. Has the wiring with plugs on ends but no idea where your supposed to hook it all to. Is the spot for sedan switch supposed to be on center console right behind the traction control button? Looks like a switch knock out is there. I'm sure I can fumble through it. looking for more confirmed Ideas of where to go with it. Where is the factory wiring hook up at firewall?
