Hitch installation problem

Hey all,

I bought a Hidden Hitch and would like to install it ... but I can't get the old bolts off!! I'm using a 12mm wrench and cant get the nut to budge. I think it may be too rusted. Any thoughts about what I can do?

PB Blaster, let it soak, and an impact tool.

Hopefully you mean you can't get the "bolt", not "nut" to budge? The nut is welded on, so you are trying to turn the bolt, not the nut. As mentioned above, soaking it with a penetrating oil will probably be necessary to get it out without snapping it.

die grinder cut it off and start over the sedan hitch would be ideal for the liftback so you dont see it till receiver is in place
