I'd rather have the Blitz kit anyway. Nothing against TRD, but I dont see them pushing the envelope like I do Blitz.

very true, but some people do prefer keeping their warranty by going through TRD.
where's the fun in that?

I'd go Blitz over TRD all day. TRD is hella overpriced anyways.

Screw that.
Wait until your warranties run out, find a local tuner shop, befriend them, and get a custom job done.
Support your local speed shops. Blitz has enough dough... plus you'll get to see all the other cool cars your shop plays with.

the supercharger for the xb and the yaris would essentially be the same kit. The only difference would be engine management if it comes with that. The only other thing you would have to do is make a throttle body plate that bolts to the supercharger and to our throttle bodies since we have different throttle bodies. I talked to blitz thats all they said they did. just fyi. I don't know if TRD would warranty their part though seeing as it isnt fully intended for the Yaris, but that would be a question i would ask. Who knows, best of luck.:headbang: haha thats a funny smiley

Ok u have to think about what this car is. It is marketed as a cheap economy car so why would they sell a sc for it. Im honestly supprised that toyota even offers any kind of performance for it. I am not complaining I think it is cool they do but supprising.

perhaps, but then why would toyota run a one-make-race series in Japan and other countries if there is no performance in its heart?
hey the corolla is considered an economy car, it got a trd supercharger to boot. so that is just f'n wrong that the yaris is not getting any love.

Hopefully we all learned something from the TEIN Yaris in Siphon. You don't need huge horsepower to be fast on the track. That article has me basically rethinking everything when it comes to performance and this car.

and so is the:
ford focus they have factory backing
the neon srt/ pt cruiser have factory backing
the scion tc's have a trd option
and who knows what other cheap econo cars have factory performance parts..

And I think that is cool that they do im not saying they shouldnt. But what do most people think when someone says economy car. I dont think they get excited and say man I bet that thing is a blast to drive. Or man I bet that thing handles like it is on rails. All my cars have been economy cars so I know what they are capable of. I have had 2 festivas(I would have another but couldnt find one) and a 94 talon 1.8l and now the yaris. Course the sub compacts are getting more popular. I like that toyota offers some aftermarket style stuff for there cars. Course it is basicly just stuff that makes the car how it should of been from the factory.
