Your wrapping skills are very good, no question about it. I would let you wrap my car if I could afford it.

But, no sir, the way that sits right now just is not my style.

Hmmm wrap my HB with the red one .... How much did you charge for the job again ?

no doubt your skill are awesome.. Not a fan of the red though. All black would look better. Or something less, that quarter panel is just too much. Instead wrap the front and rear lips and side skirts red and the rest black.. just a thought

no problems, we all see things differently, i had the same thought as you do before, but since the red carbon fiber is a little more expensive and not that popular for us.

Lucky my distributor gave me a 60x130 for free to try it out. Since i told him about my idea.

hell i did it anyway.

Well you are a mile high in the air, but I'm not going to hold that against you because I know how the roads in Atlanta are and everyone's Yaris sat at that level at some point. lol

The red where the red is across the unibody just isn't my style though. Now it looks from a distance like a red Yaris that was in an accident and had a black Yaris donate some parts. If the red is too expensive, maybe vinyl the doors, unibody, fenders and bumper in the black carbon, and then do the hood, roof, and trunk/spoiler in the red carbon. Just an idea to get some form of flow going. I like the ideas that are going on, but they are all over the place.

How much does a wrap job cost though? I'm getting a spoiler sent in soon and was thinking of having it wrapped in black carbon just to save on paint costs, and having the roof wrapped to match.

^ That would be much more tasteful. Honestly all this wrapping just cheapens the car so much. The wrapping is made to accent portions of the car like a lip, hood, roof, trunk, pillars. They were not intended to cover an entire car.

TBH your car reminds me of something like this

i like the originality of it. really good wrapping skills. what is your technique?

i don't like how to wrap the trunk, hood and roof one color and the rest another, it's just so plain and simple, like many cars out there just wrap the hood and roof. shhhhhhhh.....we done this alot to customers :)
I see it's a little different, that is what i left it's black before and did not wrap it.
Yeah ideas are all over the place.
The whole wrap cost anywhere from $1K to $2K depend.
Wrapping just the spoiler probably will cost you the same amount as getting it painte

^^^^^Coool.. ahhahahha
You should get your car wrap like that, if you think it's look good = it's look good.

My technique?

Take your time, be patience, don't go cheap, make sure have plenty of vinyl to works with. Go to youtube and watch all the videos you can find about VInyl Wrap.
I see you live in Alaska, you need to talk to whoever sell you vinyl and make sure that vinyl can take the beat from the cold.
i learned alot from my failures

It's unique, and now looks much better than it did in your earlier pictures (which I see are now deleted). In those shots, it really looked crappy with 3 or so different black body panel finishes. Now looks more cohesive. The seam on the rear wheel arch is a shame.

Should of cleaned the bird shit off before snapping the pics.

no, but i can tell you this, all the bugs...whatever that it's hard to get rid of it before, now it's super easy, just wipes it off.
I guess it's not a smooth finishe like Paint it's has texture rough feel to it. I think that is why it's so easy to clean off them buggssss.

Not bad, although I personally would have done the front fenders to for front/back symmetry.

I wouldn't. The way it is has an organic quality. Sort of like the red takes root in the A pillar, and grows as it is swept towards the rear.

Doing the front fenders would be a big red blob, tappering to almost nothing along the roof, ending in another big red blob.

very well, you can pressure wash if you like to, just be careful around the corners, do not wax it or polish the vinyl, only use quick detailer or spray wax.
