So...........................

I've been on a perpetual hunt for wheels.

I've bought a set that weren't 100% what I want

Now I've found a set of the actual ones I want, and they are in Columbus Ohio. The seller refuses to sell to anyone but a real live face and he refuses to ship.

This seems a stretch (sounds crazy to me) but................ anyone in Columbus mind getting paypal'd for some wheels / then taking the cash to this dude / getting the wheels and shipping them to me (maybe through a UPS Store?) to an address in New York?????

I'd kinda rather not drive 14hrs to get these wheels, although I'll do it if I have to.

Cheers

Will

Wouldn't you have to pay customs on them going back through Buffalo? (assuming you are driving over the Peace Bridge or Rainbow)

I hate those crossings, normally when I return from Chicago or Indianapolis I cross at Detroit - or I drive all the way around the lakes to Upstate New York which is the closest to where I live in Canada.

In this instance, if I were driving to get the wheels I'd be crossing at Thousand Islands and coming home the same way.

If somehow the wheels were shipped to me, I'd have them shipped to me in Upstate NewYork and just make a day trip - drive down to New York and get them.

Either way I'd only pay sales tax.

however, if they were mailed to me across the border (from USA to Canada) I'd also have to pay duty and brokerage fees.
