Watched DRIVE CLEAN on youtube and wanted to see if anyone here uses a foam gun/lance. Opinions? Tips?

I learned quite a bit from that as well. I have a similar gun, but I typically just use it to soap the car for quick and dirty (non-wiped) washes. I never thought of using both together.

Klink10 and CTScott, which ones do you use and would you recommend them or not?

The one that I use is a pretty generic thing that I bought a few years ago from an autoparts store to be lazy with washings. I figured I could fill it with soap and blast the car to clean it and then just rinse. I find that if I use it and don't also use a mitt, then I leave a lot of dirty areas. In the video he really just uses it to blast off the large stuff and then he uses it as a lubricating device with the mitt.

I own a potent pressure washer and have tried also using that for a lazy wash and the results are about the same, so the direct wiping of the surface seems to be key.

Had mine made by a guy in Ga. to fit my current pressure washer system. I'll try and find out who it was. Total was about 125$ if I remember right. Stipulation was I wanted snow and that's what I got. Use it as a prewash stripper of waxes and sealants.

I use a high pressure system with a foaming attachment. It uses less water than the ordinary hose used in DRIVE CLEAN.

The pressure also removes more dirt than an ordinary hose.

(I have a karcher pressure cleaner with a foaming attachment)

Thanks everyone. I think I'll go with the "Gilmour 75QGFMR Foamaster Adjustable Multi Ratio Cleaning Gun" on amazon. I don't have a pressure washer..yet

Gilmour 75QGFMR Foamaster

I recently ordered the Gilmour 75QGFMR Foammaster from Amazon.ca=http://www.amazon.ca/Gilmour-75QGFMR-Foamaster-Adjustable-Cleaning/dp/B000XTH1GY

I would recommend this product to anyone who washes their car frequently or has more than one vehicle. There are 2 different models , I chose to go with the all metal one vs the foam-master 2 which has a lot of plastic.
