So the cargo light in my wife's Yaris wasn't working, and I pulled it open to get the bulb out, take it to the store, and get a new one.
There was no bulb in it at all. Fine.
I look it up (here) and find that I need a DE3022. I buy two so I've got a spare (and because they come in packs of two anyway).
Get home, go to put the bulb in the car and the socket in the car is almost twice as long as the bulb is.
Any ideas? Am I missing something?
I might be able to bend the contacts to be tight enough to hold the bulb but I'm not sure that's a good idea (or that it would stand up to bumps while driving if I did it.)
