a/c malfunction

I have a 2010 yaris and my air conditiong has been leaking condensation into my car, and making funny noises when I make a left turn. I have taken it to the dealership where I purchased it, as it is NOT under warranty anymore. They just "couldn't" find out what was wrong. After jumping online and spending a whopping five minutes online, I find that this is a common problem, and a mechanical error that has occured due to the manufacturing of the air conditiong. Anyone have the same problem and a way to file a formal complaint on this as the dealership is asking me to pay $1,200 to fix?

There are a bunch of threads on here about that. The "condensate drain" (search for those terms and you'll find them) is plugged. You can easily unplug it yourself. Once you do so, install a cabin air filter in the slot behind the glove box to prevent it from recurring.
