Headlight adjustment : Drivers side lower due to the accident

Got it . Turn the nut to the right to raise , left to lower . Turned it about 8 times to the right to get to same level as the passenger side . Park the car on a fairly level surface about 6 feet away from the side of a building made of cinder blocks or brick to use the mortar ( lines ) to help adjust beam(s) of light to proper setting . Surprised the adjustment still worked after the impact .
