I just ordered a set of 4 General Altimax Artic winter tires for my 09 Yaris liftback S. I just recently moved to CO, and this will be my first set of winter tires. I was curious as to what your thoughts were on getting the road hazard program for winter tires. It would cost about $40 for all 4 tires. I know for regular tires, you run the risk of driving over nails/potholes/glass/etc. Should I also get the road hazard for winter tires, do they run the same risk of damage? Thanks!

Yes, of course the risk of damage is there. Even greater in fact as you may drive over snow conceiled hazards which you may have avoided on a clear road.
All that same trash is on the road, year-around.

I just found out if you buy your tires from BJs for $15 per you get mount, lifetime balance and road hazard.

Dont know if it adds up...
