Alright guys its that time again. I am planning my third meet of the year and would like to get some suggestions and input. Let's get all the S FL and GA people to come through as well and have our largest meet yet.

Guidelines:
-I would like to have the meet sometime this month or 1st week of Nov.
-Somewhere in FL is best like Tampa or Orlando, they seem to be centrally located for FL/GA members.
-I would like to plan something for later in the day/evening unless its a cold day
-I really want this to be a large gathering so Id like everyones feedback so we can pick try and please everyone

How about we meet up and then rollout to a larger sponsored meet? This way we are guarenteed to have a great meet even if some of our people back out.

There is a supra meet/dyno/BBQ at a local shop in Tampa. Their meets are always packed and open to anyone. They have cheap all you can eat food, you can sign up for a $30 dyno, and there will be some wild horsepower monsters on display!!! Also being scheduled November 11th gives us all time to prepare and get time off.

I'm up for a meet, but the later it is (in November would be best) the better for me, personally.

I'm booked with stupid Halloween shit this weekend because of the Misses infatuation with dressing up and going out, and next weekend is the Georgia/Florida rivalry so I'll be in Jacksonville getting ripped up and likely watching my alma mater lose. :biggrin:

I still havn't met up with either of you and I deff want to get together. I was thinking the same thing D. I want us to get together and ride out to a larger meet to really make it worth everyone's trip.

There are 2 upcoming meets I would like to align with. There is either the 11/03/12 sibling rivalry Scion vs Toyota Meet in Jacksonville FL. There is also a Supra meet on 11/11/12 in Tampa FL. It is at Induction Performance and they are having a dyno day/bbq. Open to all cars and should be a lot of fun with some wicked high hp Supras doing dyno pulls.

Let's just pick one.

OK, well in that case, I will have to roll with SR in Jax, my autocross region has a booth there and I have been going for the past 2 years. Buccaneer region supplies thier traffic cones and I usually stay late to help clean up. If I go this year, I will have to actually put my body kit on at the event because the right clip broke and sags too low and rubs on my exhaust. I will order my tires hopefully this week.

Its only about a week and a half away and it sounds like youve got a lot to finish but if you're pretty sure you can make it then I will come through. It sounds like the better of the two meets.

There is also Simply Clean 4 on 11/10 in Daytona. That should be a massive meet.

So I dont forsee this turning into an organized meet, only 3 people have responded. I will be attending a few meets throughout FL until the end of the year. I will notify those of you I have contact with to meet up but anyone else please feel free to show up to any of the meets and look for me. I will be attending:

1. 11/03/12 - Sibling Rivalry Toyota vs Scion - Jacksonville (this one is still iffy)
2. 11/09/12 - 11/10/12 - Simply Clean 4 - Daytona
3. 11/11/12 - Induction Performance Dyno/BBQ - Tampa
4. 12/?/12 - I Heart Driving Slow - unsure exact date or location yet

I will definitly be at the SR event this coming up saturday. I will be arriving at around 1pm. I am unfamiliar with the new location so I dont know where our booth will be.. Its usually next to the DJ. Will be in the SCCA booth with some other SCCA cars

I gotta work tomorrow from 4am-10am.. I gotta be in jacksonville between 1-2pm... I think I will be sleeping in my car most of the event.. lol

It was nice.. couldn't ask for better weather. Not nearly as cold as last year. New garage was a bit more tight. Wasn't as open as previous years. I will have pics soonish. just gotta resize them.. I didnt take many though, I dont like taking pictures alot. Mostly stuff that "I" find interesting which isn't what others tend to like. lol

@1.5 Lol man would I LOVE to come to a Supra meet, I'm workin though on a Sunday, I got a LONG month ahead of me with work. Holidays comin up man so Disney's gonna be pack in november and december. (I'm a cook at Disney's polynesian resort.) Time to break bread and get my yaris project on its first good foot.

The fiancee surprised me with tickets to Georgia/Ole Miss in Athens this past weekend before I could run the idea of going to SR in Jacksonville by her. We ended up taking her car to Athens anyway.

Don't know how she would handle Jacksonville essentially two weeks in a row since I was just there for Georgia/Florida the weekend before and I was DRUUUUUNK!!!1

What can I say. College football buff and my alma mater is doing well for once. :biggrin:

I have a lead on a brand new set of tires for my S Lites for under $300 which would be fucking awesome. Then I would be totes down for any and (nearly) all meets within reasonable distance. That includes Georgia and mid-Florida on up to Tennessee.

IDEA: If none of these Florida meets pans out (unfortunate, but likely) over the next few weeks, what does everyone think of going to the Dragon in the winter? The bikers will be out of there and provided there isn't crazy snowfall going on, it is a riot. Car responds better in cold weather too. I have been once in the winter (February) and once in the summer (July) and the winter time was far and away more fun. Unfortunately, I know Knoxville is a drive for you guys down in Florida. Just a thought.

I have always wanted to go to Deals Gap but I have no more vacay time for this year and I cant do up and down in 1 day. Also not too sure my setup now would be twisty friendly, I can picture now my tires flying off the beadlock around a turn going like 40+ lol.

Yeah dude, I had a chance to buy some XXR rims 15's for $300 but I'm gonna just save my money and get some sparco 17's in grey or somethin...Not sure what color theme I'm goin on but I know I'm headed in a direction...HID head lights and Window tint are next.

Dude I'm gonna be on that site for a LONG time looking around at EVERYTHING. :3 I'm thinking of going BRONZE, WHITE, BLACK, or GREY for my Rim color...Its mellow but it makes a nice statement. I just washed and de-badged my sedan and I'm lovin the clean smooth look. Next I wanna black out my chrome Toyota symbols and gonna try and figure a way to black out that chrome accent on the trunk too. I'm not a big fan of chrome.

I also wanted to ask...any one in the FL region got any used lowering springs/coilovers?
Lookin to drop my height, heard coilovers were a great way to go. Yes/no?

That site is great for used wheels lol. It's not only Tampa too, there are people from pt St Lucie, Naples, Boca, Miami, jacksonville, Orlando, its like the entire state lol.

I just sold my ksports springs recently so all I have is stock suspension sitting in my garage.

For me coilovers are the only way to go but they're pricey and not everyone wants to be slammed

ksports are the cheapest for a drop that is almost equal to teins

I hear great things about MI springs as well but never tried them. But MI everything is good
