View Full Version : I Found A Nipple On My Yaris!

And I'll tell you where it is so you can see if yours has one! :thumbsup:

Its right next to the oil filter (I was changing my oil with the car up on ramps and having a good look around).

Its on the end of the starter motor. Its black and about an inch long.

When it touched it (:redface:) it felt all hollow inside.

I wonder if that means its some kind of water drain?

What could it be for? :iono:

No but maybe someday I will try.

I say try because its in a tight place and my camera doesnt focus good.

I have a whole series of pics that I have taken while mine was up on my lift. Sure enough there it is. I believe that is where the IQs nurse until they are ready to be weaned.

Solenoid ventilation - to let the dust out, I'd say. A lot of starters have this.

When I went on line to find a clamp for it I ended up on a website that had nothing to do with cars
