View Full Version : Yaris HB 2008.
Just bought a 2008 Yaris HB (package). I received one door key, with a chip, and the other has to be programmed for the car. Question: Does this Model come with a remote door opener?
Thanks...

It depends on the package that it came with. Many shipped with power doors and windows, but not with keyless entry. If you want to PM me your VIN, I can look and see if your car was built with it or not.
Thank You CTScott for your prompt response. after writing to the "Forum", I realized that I could do more footwork on this query, so I contacted Toyota Head Office", and was advised that in fact this vehicle (HB) came with a keyless door entry. So I got my answer. While we are communicating, would you mind telling me how one can access this type of information, equipped with a VIN #, without phoning Toyota?
Thanks again...

I happen to have a copy of the Toyota Electronic Parts Catalog. With it I can plug in a VIN and filter for the parts that were built into that particular vehicle.

nookandcrannycar, that's reassuring, Thank You.
Oh, to the best of your knowledge, is there a "Toyota Sienna" website similar to this one?
(I'm driving a 2001 LE)
Thanks again.
Sorry nookandcrannycar. I just realized the message came from Killchain. I hope Killchain can see this message and my Thanks to him. Seems I'm not firing on all my cylinders today...
