Im in the process of building a box to fit my boot just struggling on design ideas anyone fancy posting some pics of there set ups?? :)

I had this in my trunk of my 2000 Echo. 3/4" MDF with internal bracing.

You could go very simple with a prefab box:

The amp is mounted to the front or back of the enclosure depending on how you look at it :smile:

I'm not a fan of putting all those expensive, delicate, electronic components attached to the source of vibrations;

I guess it's fine, people do it all the time, but not me.

I suppose you are right in some regards, but in all honesty the subs were on clearance for 50 bucks a pop and the amp is already 13 years old without any issues so I doubt that by now vibration would cause an issue. :biggrin:
