Hi all,
I just had a rear wheel bearing replaced and now find that when i depress the brake pedal the side lights come on and the display in the car dims, i don't know how replacing a bearing would affect this (i know the abs is built into the bearing somehow) any ideas much appreciated.
Regards james.

Sounds like they pinched a wire or two in the process of working on the car and bridged the stop light wiring with the turn signal wiring. I would start with following the wires from tail lights as far as you can and inspect them for damage.

Agree fully with the above. Also check the earth connections for the rear lights. I cannot think why they would be disconnected or damaged during replacing a wheel bearing but if the connection is poor or non existant the power will try to find a route to earth through other bulbs.
