Hi,

I recently got a used 07 Yaris base (3dr liftback with no power features) and wanted to know if there was a way I could get a little bit more comfort in the car such as power windows, locks, (mirrors I could take or leave) and cruise control. Does anyone have any experience with this or can they direct me in the right direction i.e. websites with said products? I'd probably prefer OEM parts vs. aftermarket ones so if there were any interchangeable parts between a vitz, yaris (non-base), platz etc. that'd be great. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can go to the dealer and have them install whatever you want but it is very expensive to go that route.
Cruise control is easy. Do a search to find some tutorials.
The cheapest way would be to find a junked yaris and pull out the window motor, switches, regulator, and whatever else you need. Get the door panels while you are at it for proper switch placement.

A quick google search led me to this kit for a good price. Not oem but may be worth checking out http://www.jcwhitney.com/power-window-kit/toyota-yaris/c2797d17496j1s21.jcwx

Good luck in the hunt. Others with more info will probably chime in. Welcome and how do you like the yaris?

Switches in the console, not doors, so theres no butchering.

Mine just arrived, will install it this weekend.
