IAT/MAF HP increaser module

ive read the threads on the modules but does any one know of a way to instal this, ive tried a few but all of them ended up with me not being able to connect the iat/maf back onto it's clamp, hope my diagram helps

yea it is i just wanted to see if theres an actual difference in power but cant get the damn thing to fit right.

I really don't see how it can physically fit that way! Either you'd need some kind of pass-though plug, or to splice that into the wires outside of the plug.

Or, don't waste the time and effort on something that's basically proven to be pure BS :biggrin:

If you want to install that resistor, its not a module. Got to love all the idiots on ebay calling it a chip or module, lol.

I am not sure how it suppose to be connected. By your pics, that resistor is being connected in a parallel connection.
Depending how it suppose to work, you got only 2 options.

First options is, the resistor needs to be connected in parallel with the sensor. Just connect the resistor from the back of the connector, if you must, just follow those two wires and you will find a another connector that can be can be plug from the back of the connector, do not go in the front, hehe.

Second option is, the resistor bypass the sensor, and those two wires needs to be remove. Theres small like ears inside the connector, just bend them carefully with a paper clip to remove the crimp pins from the connector. Might need 2 paper clips do it, sometimes there is two ears.

I would guess option two is not the correct way of doing it, and i would bet my money that its option one, because the resistor is suppose to add a offset value to the sensor, not replace it.

Let us know what value is the resistor so others can do it. Paying $15 for a 25 cent resistor that you can buy at radio shack is too much.
Use a meter to ohms out the resistor. Heard its maybe 33k, but not sure. If there color bands on it, let us know what they are. Those colors tells you what value is that resistor.
