Hey guys,
I've planed to do a paintjob of ALL the plastic in my car ! Even the tissues...
For now i've painted my board and the middle part. But there is one problem at some point on my board the paint didn't stick and there is some bubbles, i used what the local store said i should use for plastics and it seems to have a little problem.... I've used some primer before I dont know why it screwed up that part... Anyway i'll look a little deeper for the next plastic part. For now here is some pictures of my work !

I think you did an excellent paint job! I personally do not like my air vent colors painted; however, to each their own. About your problem, did you sand all the pieces down? Not all paint can be used on plastics due to coating.

I didnt sand all the pieces, my dash have a texture that I like I was afraid that if I sand it, i'd loose it. I'll post some pictures of the problem later today.

I dont remember, I'll come back with the full name when i'll post the other photos

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe if you use fine coarse grit sand paper (1500, 1700, or 2000), you can keep the texture as long as you do not rub the same area with all your might. If you're using paint that does not specifically say that it'll bond to plastic, you have to prep it beforehand by sanding - it allows adhesion. After sanding it down, prime it and then use your selected paint.

sanding will mess up the texture of the dash...that's the issue i had. I sprayed some really sticky plastic adheasion promoter for the paint and let it bake in the hot sun in the summer.

Did you cut the plastic above the air vent? I'm trying to figure out where to my tweeters but I do not want to make cut out any of the panels (I would if a scrapyard here had any spare yaris parts).

I stand corrected

You should use paint vinyl. sand the piece with a very fine sandpaper, then wipe with a degreaser piece. finally using adhesion promoter to dry wait about 5 minutes and begin following these steps to paint with vinyl paint color of your choice

sorry for me english.
