I feel especially bad for you (in a collective sense...my former fellow Californians). However, such things are happening all over the U.S. I was listening to one of the late night syndicated radio talk shows a few nights ago. A truck triver from Chicago called in. He said he drives a route that goes from Chicago to Texas. He says he delivers to supermarkets and naturally has quite a few conversations with the staff he encounters. He said the thing, as a group, that ticks them off the most are people who come in (well dressed and with a lot of bling) and pay for their groceries via EBT and then go out and drive away in a brand new Escalade or comparable vehicle. I immediately thought about the times I have seen this firsthand at grocery stores just south of me in the northernmost part of Harris County.

Early this year I was watching a show where Nancy Pelosi, and a couple of other people, were being interviewed. Nancy Pelosi said something along the lines of 'now, if a woman wants to make a change and become an artist, she doesn't have to worry about health insurance':rolleyes:. Perhaps such a woman will become a classmate of the guy in the Judge Judy clip:biggrin:.
