Hey guys.

I do a winter autoX series and I would like some advice on tires. Ambient temps are typically 0-10° C (32-50° F). Wet and dry conditions. Stock class so 15" only. I get good pricing on Nitto, Falken and Yoko in that order, but will consider any options.

I currently have low performance all seasons (I'll run those when conditions are snowy etc) and RA1s which are nice when warm. So I guess I should be looking for high perf all seasons to fill the gap? Tread wear is not a concern but tire noise is (noise complaints).

I was planning on buying a set of NT01s next spring for my spring/summer/fall tires but maybe I should just buy something now instead.

Thanks for any input.
Cory

Read this and do what this guy recommends. You won't get better advice from anyone else.

I ran Azenis 615k last week, weather was not as cold as yours, it was a low of 45ish. I will say the Azenis are amazing when cold.. they kinda lost a bit of grip in the last 2 runs, but not dramatic. I am sure if it was a track event, then I would see a bigger decrease in performance.

Thanks guys. I'd read most of that article at some point but forgot the details. I'm still not sure what to do. Looking into rally tires and shaved snow tires now. But the thing is, most events are going to be 0-5°C so seems like something else would do better.
Cheers.

no 15" sizes. Otherwise yeah, those seem to be a pretty well recommended tire from a few sources.
