My 07 Hatchback Yaris is throwing a CEL code, P0011. I think TSB T-EG010-07 outlines the solution. Despite Google and YW searches, I haven't been able to access a PDF of the TSB.

Can someone share this info with me?

CTScott,
Thanks for the info!

Here are the symptoms I am experiencing: CEL appeared while traveling on a 250 mile road trip. The light came on towards the end of the trip at mile 240ish. Once the light illuminated, the accelerator pedal seemed to stop responding properly. The engine would hold the revs, even when the pedal was not depressed. Tapping the gas, causes the engine to increase revs, and hold them even though the pedal was not depressed.

Turning the car off/on "fixed" the accelerator pedal symptom, but the light remains illuminated. Gas mileage is normal for my car/driving style, at 37mpgs. The car runs/drives normally. No abnormal noises or engine performance is observed after cycling the engine off/on. The light stays illuminated for about 1 day, then turns off on its own.

This exact condition has happened twice. The research I've done on here, makes me thing the Oil Control Valve has gone bad.

More helpful information:
2007 Yaris Hatchback, I've owned sence new - 130,000 miles
Water Pump Replaced @ 99,000 miles (3 years ago) because it was weeping
Alternator replaced @ 120,000 (1 year ago) because bearings were making noise
I removed the OCV plug, just above the alternator, and the screen was flawlessly clean. I also inspected the plastic connector for the OCV and it appears undamaged.

Does anyone have any insight? I don't want to spend $100 on an OCV, only to find out this doesn't fix the issue. Thanks in advance for the help.

Before replacing it, you can check to make sure that it didn't get physically damaged during a belt change or tightening. Also, there is a mesh filter mounted directly below it that may simply be clogged.

Update: I replaced the oil control valve and driven a few thousand miles without a CEL error.
