An 800cc diesel two cylinder in a Yaris would get significantly better mpg than any hybrid and be less complex. Probably cost less $$$$.

But Toyota has no plans for one.

Making the public aware of what other manufacturers are doing potentially forces Toyta to consider their own 800cc diesel.

Which is to everyones benefit...

Putting a 500cc diesel would get significantly better mpg, it's not like they are going to do it. This topic is totally unrelated to Toyota Yaris.
