View Full Version : LED bulbs too big !!
got myself another set of 7440 LED bulbs, but the housing is way too big to fit onto the hole on my jdm Tails ...oops ...let me rephrase it
bulb is too big wont fit into the turn signal opening on the JDM taillights
I don't think the outer glass is really matter ...should I cut it using a dremel to use ? they are significantly brighter than my current leds ..
what do u think guys ?

Ehh.. my hunch, if I really wanted to use THESE bulbs, would be to lightly tap them with a hammer till the glass breaks away.
I not even sure if the glass is easy to break or not , but I don't feel like to modify my jdm taillights .
The bulb specs is 20w, using 4 pcs of cree .... I hooked it up on the socket and the light output is brighter than my current one and also more darker orange color. My current one is brighter than the platinum led from v-leds.

Where did you buy these?
Got them from eBay , they have the 14w and the 11w option beside of this 20w one.
The shipping is super slow ... From china, took them for about a whole month to get to my door .
I was gonna get those v3 triton LEDs from v-LEDs, but they cost double ... Which is $99
