Hey Ya'll

I've read in other forums that Plexus is good for filling in small scratches for window tint. I was wondering if any YarisWorld members have used it for this purpose and if it's a good solution. Is there something else that would be better for fixing a small tint scratch?

Thanks!

I'm thinking window tint is the film they put on the inside of the windows. Using an abbrasive with enough pressure to rub out the scratch would indeed harm the film. Better to rub it out and get glass re-tinted. Still might not get all the scratch but the new film should cover it.

You're correct; the window tint is the film on the inside of the windows. I don't know if much rubbing is required with using Plexus, but I'll have to look more into that I suppose. Personally, though, I'd rather not re-tint the whole window just for a minor scratch.

I have a 3-door hatchback, and the scratch is on the front passenger window. The scratch is pretty small compared to the size of the window. The scratch is more of an annoyance if anything.
