Agreed. However, I saw my first one this morning (a white Energi) and I think it is quite ugly. I've seen quite a few Prius v (and saw another one a few minutes after seeing this C-Max Energi) and I think the Prius v is much better looking. The Prius v is also by feature a better value (IMO), shorter, and has more interior room by volume. I think the only appeal for the C-Max Energi is if you want more room than a standard Prius, but want the plug-in feature (for environmental reasons and or the tax credit) and you SPECIFICALY WANT a UAW product (the opposite of the way I feel). I think a Plug-in Prius v would eliminate a large portion of the appeal of the C-Max Energi.

The "V" is a good looking car . Have seen the Prius C 1 for a little under $17,900 . Makes it tempting . There's no cruise control for the 1 . Could live w/o it or maybe get it installed by a TOYOTA dealer .

.....maybe even try to get the (TOYOTA ) dealer to 'throw in' the cost of the cruise control (even though that is a good price)....they can only say no .
