So last night as i was driving home, i realized one of my HVAC controls wouldn't light up. The control i am referring to is the one that controls the fan speed. Everything else lights up but that one. I am an electrical noob, and have no idea what could be causing this (i'm thinking maybe there is a bulb behind it that burnt out?). It confuses me even more that its only one of the knobs that is having the issue
anyone know how i can tackle this issue, i'll take a picture during my commute home tonight.

Yes. The speed control one is the easiest to replace, since the bulb is fully accessible without taking the control apart. Once you pop the panel off you will see the 3/8" round spot. Rotate it about 1/4 turn to release the bulb assembly.
