2012 OEM hood deflector

Hi, so i was exited to install the bought from dealer OEM Toyota Canada (Made in Canada) hood deflector ($95) and the bloody thing came without install instructions.Just a lame picture on where it sits...hood ofcourse...came with some screws:confused:...some jumbo size metal clips...anyways the part #PU50052012...I emailed Toyota Canada...wtf...does anyone have install instruction,i apreciate your :help:.

If I recall correctly, these are only available through Toyota Canada... and it's surprising how many Canadian cars sport these hood deflectors.

You could give that a go, but I seem to recall a yarisworld member doing just that and discovering that Canadian Toyota dealers can't/won't ship parts to the US. Could be wrong, though. Well, it just takes a simple phone call to find out.

When Garm resold them back in the day, he had a Canadian buy a whack of them and ship them to him in California.

Sad that Toyota doesn't offer crap for OEM dealer-installed add-on accessories for their cars (especially in the US Market). They could learn something from Honda in that regard.

Looks like the $92 dollars was about half shipping. The price of the unit itself was ~45. I imagine getting it in Canada would be much cheaper.
