Hey Yarisworld,
I need some help, I'm looking for some lightweight tires for some 17" summer wheels. (Ultralight, lightweight, lite) 205/45-17 tires
Any ideas?
Did a search online and found that people were recommending Toyo Proxes T1sports.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Unless it is a dyno-queen and HP is your only concern, I wouldn't worry about tire weight. The tire companies make them as light as they can, while doing what they need to do. If weight is the main concern, smaller rims are your best bet (cheaper too).

To answer your question, the Michelin PSS is probably the lightest tire you'll find in that size(20lbs) and will slap that Toyo silly in every category except price.
most tire companies now list tire weights right on their website.

Tire rack shows tire weights on their site
Every pound of rotating mass makes a big difference
I bought 225-45-17 general g-max in the fall as they're 21lbs/tire. With my 17x8's I'm only at 39lbs/corner on my vibe
