Scooter Towing

I really want to bring my scooter (2009 Aprilia Sportcity 250cc) along with me on my long trips to use when I get to my destinations, but I can't find any statistics in regards to towing with the Yaris. Yes, I know, the Yaris was never meant to tow, and there probaly isn't any specs, at least any that I could find, but I was hoping to do something like this:

Scooter is about 375 Lbs so thinking this is the same as 2 people in the backseat. Any ideas, comments, or suggestions?

There is a big difference between two people in the back seat and two behind the hatch on a lever, so you would find that it would really lift the front with that much weight mounted like that.

You would be better off with one of the little motor cycle trailers that are basically an axle, tongue, and a U channel for the bike.

Thanks, I know there's alot about towing on here, and I read alot about different hitches. I am going to go with a small motorcycle trailer that you described Scott, one that is an axle and fenders. I found one that weighs about 140 Lbs. plus my scooter weighs 350. Not too bad. I read alot so didnt mean to restart anything.
