My 2007 Yaris just started lighting up the Brake & ABS lights when I drive. I read through the entire post about this issue with the Canadian model, and cleaned and greased the contacts (rear for now, didn't have to time to disassemble the front end).

I got the DTC code from the blinks - 3494. Do I read this as 2 different codes, i.e. 34 & 94? If so, does that translate to "Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal" and "Control Module Communication Bus OFF?"

This seems to have started after my battery died (winter sucks), and I had to jump. Any chance of that causing the issue?

That is correct that it is two separate codes. Did you try clearing the codes to see if the 94 stays off?

Short 4 & 13, turn it on and pump the brake 8 times? Didn't seem to work, but I'll give it another shot.

Chances are the "communication" DTC is erroneous (and yeah, maybe from low voltage when the battery died). The sensor DTC is probably there for a reason (and will cause both the ABS and brake warning lamp to come on.
