I wish they made the Yaris in a few more colors

Heres a pretty cool green one, it actually looks more metallic than the picture shows...and Japan had a run of pastel series...not for me but it makes getting a Yaris more fun when they have the exact colors you have in mind...:smile:

That blue is a factory color, and is starting to grow on me. If not flint mica, I'd go with that blue... we will see when it is time to repaint this thing. I'm guessing a whole lot of Yaris owners will be repainting their ride. The paint from the factory scratches like nothing.

I actually see new Camry's with a really similar color. It is Sky Blue Pearl Clearcoat, paint code 8S4. That would look hot on a Yaris.

While I think I would still have chosen black, I do kinda wish they had a nicer blue than Bayou or Blazing. Something darker would be nice.

My Toyota purist side says go factory something. That blue would be awesome, or I could get the Yaris I always wanted and paint her black.

My custom side says if you're only going to be paying for paint and 50 bucks for a thank you, and the body shop he works in carries House of Kolor... :biggrin:

Heres a larger picture of that beautiful blue color...:) I used it as my desktop for a long time!...I think its from Thailand and the owner posted here once a while back...

yall beware of custom colors, your insurance may not reimburse if u get in an accident, just like they dont cover aftermarket stereos without endorsements, but theres no endorsement on custom paint. i work at auto club and i checked.. cuz i want to paint my yari apple jolly rancher green.. im sure i still well.. just made me think twice about it.... but this is an fyi =oD

I quite like the current offered olive mist and jade sea. But olive only comes with a light interior and the jade sea only on the S model. Of course, they are both sedan only, too.

Has this been posted yet: the JDM Vitz body colour page (http://toyota.jp/vitz/exterior/bodycolor/index.html)? They added some new colours since the new Vitz got released two years ago, but that bright bottle green seems to have gone... there's a darker one now that I don't like quite as much.

Yaris Revenge, that's just like the original VW New Beetle yellow. Nice colour. I think the Suzuki Swift sport comes in a similar colour too.

I think it has to do more with bringing over the colors that sell well than keeping it for themselves. Americans usually aren't very big on "odd" colors.
