Just bought a 2001 Yaris, advice please :)

Hi there,

I just bought a 2001 Yaris VVti SR 1.3L as my first car. It drives well and handles really nicely, I just wondered if there is anything specific I should know about or watch out for. Obviously it's quite old so things might start wearing out but I think overall it's in pretty good condition. 68,500 miles on the clock which is about right.

I've checked the coolant, oil, water etc. One thing I've noticed is the coolant light stays on for a minute or two after starting the engine, but I've been told this is completely normal on a Yaris and just means the engine hasn't fully warmed up yet.

If anyone has any advice, known issues or anything worth knowing about this car I would be very grateful to hear from you.
