Me presento y pido ayuda con radio

Hola, me llamo Sebastian y soy de Chile, iba a hacer este post en otro lado pero encontré este sub-foro y espero puedan ayudarme.

Tengo un toyota vitz 2006 (Japonés), el cual, llegó con su radio de fabrica, que seria lo siguiente:

Y quiero dejarla de esta manera:

El problema es que he buscado por todas partes el "kit" para poder instalar una radio pero no logro encontrar nada. Saludos y espero alguien me pueda ayudar

Those are the standard parts for the US Yaris. From a Toyota shop here they sell for $40 each for the side pieces and $62 for the silver piece.

i think that's so expensive. i think to saw a kit in ebay for approximate $50 ( i think so) and now i'd don't find on the internet. if you have any link where i can buy from Chile could be good. (sorry for my english)

If you can find a used set, that is the best way to go. They do show up on eBay.

the only problem is i can't communicate with that shop in uk. that's why i try to buy in eeuu (i'm from chile). If any of you can help me to find Or sell it to me, could be cool

That is actually just stickers that cover the dash pieces to make them look like wood, metal, carbon fiber, etc.

I actually am working on getting you a set. I should have them in hand by the end of this week and then once I have the box size and weight, I can let you know how much it would cost including shipping.

Yo reemplacé hace poco el radio OEM del Yaris, le puse un cdplayer convencional Kenwood que tiene tamaño estándar como lo muestras en las foro. El Kenwood lo compré en Amazon, en una tienda car boutique local le ponian la caja (gaveta) de abajo para para el espacio sobrante, por USD35.00. La gaveta era del mismo tamaño del player, a los lados quedan unas ranuras libres fácil de tapar con espuma de empaque. Al final no gasté los 35.00 porque un amigo consiguió una caja (gaveta) usada de otro vehículo, que justamente cazó bien. En Amazon venden la gaveta, junto con los ganchos metálicos, valen como USD25.00 más envio, más el player que puede rondar los USD100.00

Hola, gracias por la respuesta. Ya compré todo el kit para poder cambiar la radio (la que me falta comprar). Lo compré a Csott y solo me falta a que llegue para comprar una radio. Saludos y gracias

Debes cuidar que un conocedor de esas conexiones te haga la instalación, debido a que el conector trasero de la radio OEM no coincide con los conectores de sonido y electricidad de los radios comunes. Todos los radios parecen tener conexiones estándares para instalación fácil de bocinas de todo tipo, pero los conectores Yaris no son compatibles (son diseños propietarios) así que te queda la decisión de cambiar bocinas junto con la radio, para simplificar la cosa, o que un técnico haga el empalme manualmente con las bocinas OEM.

Pretendo que algun tecnico me instale la radio por la misma razon que tu mensionas. De todas maneras, el "set" que compré incluye una especie de adaptador que ahora me queda claro para lo que es. Gracias
