Hi Scott/AbsolutelyRed/anyone, mine is a 2012 sedan (although technically this is not the same as a 2012 hatch), what is the way I can find out that i have a foglight switch icon on my cluster? or would you know right off the bat if i do or don't?

Here's what I have, an aftermarket factory installed Esuse fog switch on the left lower dash (which Toyota got me believing they are Stanley (or Koito at least)), beside where the power mirror switch is.

Mine is a TOTL 1.3L while the TOTL 1.5L variants here have an integrated foglight switch on the stalk but is also coupled with a slightly different cluster (optitron).

The 2012 sedan is really still a second gen Yaris, so the factory wiring is not as complete as it is with the third gen Yaris.

If you have aftermarket fogs installed they are likely installed completely independent of the OEM wiring, which is why your indicator on the speedometer does not light up. It is almost definitely present, but unless the OEM fog light relay wiring is used to drive the fogs, it doesn't light.

If you do some searching, there is a thread on here where I explain how to connect the wiring from the aftermarket fogs to turn the indicator on.
