Now that winter is upon us, and sun is lower in the sky, how many find the dash top reflection on the windshield totally annoying.

If so, any solutions?

They have several varities to choose from. I just ordered a hood protector (bra) from them for long trips. Very good company to deal with.

After using Vinylex on my dash, I do have a slight reflection in the windshield. A dash mat is better than a beach towel slung up there, I agree. Though, a beach towel would work in a pinch.

I can confirm the sunprotec DM1250 fits great for RHD.

I like the fact that Texas has window stickers for registration, but I don't like the fact that the signatures, written in dates, etc that apply to that particular sticker issuance are visible on the back of the sticker and thus by anyone peering in the side window. I folded an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of white paper to the size of the sticker and taped it over the back of the sticker. When I got pulled over for a burnt out rear plate light the cop made me remove the folded sheet of paper, said it isn't legal to obscure the back of the sticker while driving  (OMG, what a picky regulation). I told the cop why I had affixed the sheet. The COP SUGGESTED THAT I PUT A BEACH TOWEL UP AGAINST IT ON THE DASH while parked to achieve the 'blocking' I desired and could leave the towel flat on the dash to have it ready.....so you likely (or at least might) not run into any trouble using a beach towel if you, as mentioned, had to use one in a pinch.
