Okay this is the stalk in my yari

I think it is a fog light stalk but the only problem is that the part that supposed to move ie the switch on the right doesn't move, is there a tab that supposed to be broken to allow it to move?
Also I have Dlala fogs and want to connect it to the stalk if possible, note I have an aftermarket switch at the moment controlling the fogs, what do I need to do in order for it to work?

Thanks people

With the symbol facing in the opposite direction as the headlight symbol, I believe that is the rear foglight switch (some European Yaris have rear fogs). I have a European Yaris instrument cluster and it has two fog light indicators - One facing the same direction as the headlight indicator and one facing the opposite.

Since the switch does not rotate, I would continue using your fogs as is, rather than risking breaking the internals of the headlight switch.

Thanks CTScott, appreciate the help, I'm just going to carry on using them normally...also hear in SA the yari's come with rear fog lights

Hi,

In European cars with the stalk that you have you can only turn the stalk when the headlights are turned on.

As CTScott said that switch is for rear fog lights

I have the same stalk on my 2007 Yaris.

Hey SePtRa,

Mine doesn't move regardless if the headlights are on or not, but I know the rear fogs come on, I think our cars have their rear fogs permanently on when the headlights are on
