help i broke my differential in my yaris 1.3 2006

hi guys, i broke my differential and i was wondering if someone could tell me if i can use any other gearbox from toyota in my yaris and which one, all info aapreciated

btw a gearbox from a yaris 2006 costs 1400 us dollars in a scrapyard :)

Toyota doesn't list a part number for the entire differential, but the housing for yours is 41311-52120. That part number is used on SCP90, KSP90 and KSP130 Yaris only.

I just looked at ebay.co.uk and there are quite a few different gearboxes mated to 1.3L engines. Many of them are around 200 Pounds Sterling (about $300 us), and shipping would probably be easier/less expensive.
